The Endless Mountain Music Festival is dedicated to providing opportunities for community members to engage with the arts. We provide educational programs for youth participants during the festival and throughout the year. Meet a member of the orchestra by being a host family or be a volunteer!
VOLUNTEER
Be a part of this wonderful musical experience by volunteering! It takes many helping hands to bring the festival to life - we would love to have you join our team. Some of the volunteer opportunities include ushering at concerts, transportation of musicians from the airport and to & from concert performances, supplying food for musicians prior to concerts, and helping at special events and the Children's Health Fair. COMMUNITY EDUCATION
Our Community Education programs are designed to enhance the enjoyment of music performed by the Endless Mountain Music Festival by providing ways for attendees to experience a deeper understanding of music and its' performance. We offer opportunities for young musicians to experience playing with, and learning from professional musicians.
Children's Health Fair - We will have a booth at the Tioga County Health Fair showing the connection between music and good health. Location: The Green, Wellsboro.
Pre-Concert Lectures - These informative & evocative talks before festival orchestra concerts enhance the audience's listening experience & understanding of the music performed at the concert. Location: Steadman Theatre, Mansfield.
Open Rehearsals - Students are invited to select open rehearsals to enhance understanding of professional musicians' work, and for enjoyment, in a relaxed environment. Location: Varies
